Russian Program

Those who find their own country sweet are only raw beginners,
those for whom each country is their own are already strong;
but only those for whom the whole world is as a foreign country are perfect.

Mandate

The art of mastering a language and engaging with a new culture is a long-term, if not a life-long, process. Furthermore, mastery implies more than an ability to manipulate linguistic data, to understand and make oneself understood. It includes an understanding of the context, an understanding of the cultural, social and historical heritage that is an essential part of those who speak a particular language. Our programs (in German, Japanese and Chinese, as well as Russian) aim to provide students with the tools that will permit them to pursue with success that life-long challenge of learning a language and culture in this broad sense.
